“I will sweep away both man and beast I will sweep away the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea- and the idols that cause the wicked to stumble. Zephaniah 1:2–3, “I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord. (Matt 24:36) The Second Coming of Christ will also be the time of the Final Judgment, when all flesh, both humankind and animal kind will be destroyed, putting an end to mortal life. It will occur during the seventh day of creation, which is still in progress, comes to an end. The sentence for the crime can be found in Genesis 2:17: "but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die." God will eventually exact the judgment, or penalty, that he placed on Adam and Eve as a result of their eating of the forbidden fruit in Eden, on their offspring.
It is also a time of testing and trial of a Christian's conduct and character. The time God has allotted for us to obey the gospel and establish a relationship with him is known as the period of human probation. There will be no more opportunity to respond to the invitation for salvation. What will happen at Christ's Second Coming? Three important events will take place on that day: Christ will raise the dead, execute judgment, and deliver up the kingdom.
